Chrysler PT Cruiser was a hatchback derived from a concept car called Chrysler Pronto Cruizer. The compact family car appeared in the year 2000 for the 2001 model year in trims from Touring and Signature Series to Limited. A turbocharged GT model was released in 2003 and a two-door convertible came out in 2005. There were many special editions over the years, too. They included models with Flame or Woodie packages, a Street Cruiser Route 66, a Pacific Coast Highway, a Sunset Boulevard, and a Dream Cruiser Series 5. There were also Sport and Couture models. The wagon was discontinued in 2010.
