Your engine needs to be properly cooled in order to run right, as it creates an incredible amount of heat when its operating. Without your factory radiator, the engine would quickly overheat and begin to fail. The radiator circulates a mix of water and engine coolant through the engine and back through a series of connected hoses. The coolant collects the heat from the hottest parts of the engine and returns to the radiator. The engine stays cool and continues operating efficiently. The heat dissipates through the radiator's large, finned surface, leaving the fluid free to take another trip through the engine.

Don't ignore the warning signs of your radiator failing. They may be something as obvious as your warning light appearing on the dash, or your engine overheating during normal driving conditions. If you see a pool of colored liquid where you park your car or SUV, that's likely to be leaking coolant. Have your Mopar® certified mechanic inspect your vehicle to determine the source of the problem just to be sure. If your radiator needs to be replaced, insist on using the genuine Mopar parts that are designed to fit your model. You can find them in our online auto parts inventory. Buy yours now!
