The original factory brake rotors in your vehicle have to be in good condition in order for your braking system to operate as it should. The brake rotor, which is also known as a disc brake, attaches to the tire's hub. When you step on the brake pedal and cause brake fluid to rush to the calipers, they compress the brake pads against the brake rotor to create the resistance that slows your wheels down.
